Whether you are a fan of the beach-side venue it has to be said it’s a big part of Brighton Club life. We’ve been hearing rumours of an imminent sale for a while now and it seems that it could be sooner then we think. The latest interest has come from Digital up in Newcastle. Now after a few days of Brighton Chit-chat we can confirm the rumours – a deal has been made.
The Zap has recently enjoyed greater success with the addition of a few popular nights. Even with success it is evident the venue is not doing as well as possible. The marketing, music policy and general direction stinks of a venue in need of change.
Union proved popular with dance music fans in Brighton yet a flop with the sandal wearing, sun glasses clad beach clubbers. Is Brighton ready for a well executed new venue?? If a venue with a music policy under the hands of Catskills can’t cut it here, what could?
Can things change for the better?
We will bring you more details as we get them.

… thank fuck it’s not C-side again.

I don’t really care what the place looks like. The bar doesn’t annoy me, the staircase is fine – sort out the sound and book some names. Kill off that cheese and it would be all go.

the ZAP always put on the wrong nights in my opinion!
too out there, or too same old, never found the middle ground!
D n B is huge in brighton, a big punter puller, the ZAP basically ignores that!
asthetically the ZAP is all wrong, dimensions, decor etc!
hopefully its gonna be a big n baad venue in the future!
