Digital set to open

Press Release from Murray Media Ltd.

The end is nigh for worn-out Brighton nightlife, and judgment day is set at September 13th 2007, as Digital prepares to open its doors and change the face of clubbing as we know it.

After extensive renovations and a complete image overhaul, The Zap Club on the seafront has been transformed and is ready to tread in the footsteps of Newcastle’s favorite nightclub in becoming the newest addition to the Digital family.

The highly anticipated launch promises to be an explosive night, with genre-setting artist and stunning icon Grace Jones jetting in, James Bond style, to perform an unforgettable live show at the Digital grand opening.

The new venue promises 3 rooms and a VIP lounge with a digital edge, all finished in a clean, angular, industrial style showing that Digital means business, and is here to stay. This is a venue for the serious clubber, as can be seen from the unique Funktion One sound install and cutting edge lighting system that proved its worth to the club-goers of Newcastle. Digital has some fantastic acts planned for its first few weeks, including Maxïmo Park launching the very first StoneLove night on Friday 14th September, and Amerie introducing LoveDough on the 20th.

Also, a brand new concept from Norman Cook’s label, Southern Fried, makes its debut at the venue. The Southern Fried Mobile Disco, with Fatboy Slim, Armand Van Helden, The Whip (live) (tipped by many to be the next New Order) and Cagedbaby to name a few. We’ll be rocking the venue from 9pm until you drop.
