I thought, “Okay, another great release from our local breaks geniuses, what’s new?” but then I read the quote. I’m funny about the way words fall on me, like flakes of snow or your nan’s shed of bricks, but what also excites me about this album is these two well-respected artists, Ed Solo & School of Thought, pulling together 16 tracks with care and skill, getting deep & dirty with every genre known in the heavenly record collection — soul, funk, reggae, drum n bass, hip-hop and breaks.

Okay, I’m digging this. I also like the look of the artists Ed & School of Thought pull in for the recordings — they include Darrison, JFB (UK DMC champion) Beardyman, Carl Faure (Black Grass), Pimpernal Jones, and America’s Bukue One. Cool cool.
