Stompa Phunk’s Audio residency is no more

Press release from our friends at Stompa Phunk:

So, the time has come; after 10 years of riotous parties in fields, front-rooms and nightclubs in and around Brighton, we’ve decided that it’s time for Stompa Phunk to take a well-earned rest.

That means – for the foreseeable future at least – we’ll be stopping our regular night at Audio, and planning instead a handful of one-off parties and events in some new and possibly rather unusual environments, details of which we should be able to bring you very soon.

But we couldn’t depart without one more Friday night bash at Audio, our much-loved home for the last four years. So on March 14th, we’ve invited a pair of acts who, besides being regular favourites and great friends of SP, embody what we’ve always been about, with the up-to-the-minute blast of Deepgroove complemented by dance legend Phil Hartnoll’s timeless wisdom. Naturally, they’ll be joined by the club’s original DJ and co-founder, David Parr along with one of our first ever residents Tula and Holly Cooper for her last gig in Brighton before she travels around the world.

We hope you can join us to celebrate the end of another chapter in the epic SP story….
