Squareroots presents Drop the Lime @ Audio

Guys, great news: my all time fave NYC breakcore DJ – Drop the Lime - is playing FOR THE SECOND TIME this year here in Brighton. I’m breathlessly excited.

DTL will be playing at Brighton dubstep night Squareroots along with Jamie Vex’d, Spyro and MCs, Angry Dance Party and Eric Multiplex on Friday 24th October at Audio.

DTL aka Luca Venezia is on the Trouble and Bass label, sometimes produces under the name Curses! and as well dropping bass-heavy dub, acid house, breakcore and whatever he fancies, during his sets, he often sings on the mic (well, it’s more like screaming than singing) and he plays TO and WITH the audience, which is a great interaction.

I first saw him perform last summer at Supersonic Festival in Birmingham and I was totally charmed. Quality stuff.
