2009 will be Loop Festival’s 3rd year in Brighton and according to the organisers the event is going to be
bigger, better and bolder than ever!
The event will once again return to its central Brighton site, taking place at Victoria gardens in the Old Stein part of town. For the 1st time the festival has been extended to 2 days – showing positive growth from the 2 previous years.
Brighton is full of technology minded individuals and technology is a massive selling point with the Loop Concept. Mixing Audiovisual displays, art and learning with cutting edge DJ’s and bands fits snugly with Brighton culture.
Last year’s line-up was stacked with big-name live acts including New Young Pony Club, Four Tet, Caribou and Cut Copy and gave a first look at major new talent like Micachu, Errors and Filthy Dukes.
Thanks to a sell-out crowd, this year’s Loop will again showcase the most exciting new acts of 2009, as ever, complemented by cutting edge art, VJs, film and animation.
Last years programme featured Andrew Weatherall, Nathan Fake, Daedelus and Sway. Loop Late, will again take over the city until the early hours, with further live performances and Djs at various venues across Brighton.
Tickets will be available separately for each day or as a variety of bundles, from 1st of March 2009 via the Loop website, as well as physical outlets throughout Brighton. For a list of outlets and further information visit www.loopbrighton.com for more details.
