New album from Deekline & Wizard-”Back Up, Coming Through”
[ May 13, 2009 9:00 pm to May 14, 2009 3:00 am. ] Deekline & Wizard have been riding the UK breaks scene for a very long time and their classic party tune “Handz Up” was remixed and featured with killer effect on the Breakspoll-winning Stanton Warriors Sessions Volume 3 (Fabric Records) last year. Stompa Phunk ruled and every weekend was a sure hotspot for quality music with a likeminded crowd. But like all good things, it had to come to an end.
The Birth of Brighton Rave: A Feature on Positive Sound System
There was a time in Brighton when nightclubs were at permanent capacity, thanks in part to the big beat popularity and the city’s reputation as a party town, but underpinning the thriving night scene was the sweaty, pulsating free party scene that took over fields, beaches, mansions, vacant buildings, warehouses, coastal strips and sea archways.
