Loop Festival – Matthew Herbert cancelled

A quick press release from the Loop team. Friday’s Mathew Herbert performance has been cancelled. As well as this news the press release highlights some venue changes.

It is with great regret that due to unforeseen logistical challenges, this year’s much anticipated Loop Loud performance by the Matthew Herbert Big Band on Friday 10th July has been cancelled. By way of compensation, existing Loop Loud ticket holders are offered admission to both Saturday’s full Loop Live and Loop Late programmes.

Whilst the programme for the remainder of this weekend’s Loop Festival remains unchanged, in light of some mixed weather forecasts, we have decided to make some venue changes, to ensure that we can deliver our full programme. Loop Live performances will now take place in the historic Dome Concert Hall, Corn Exchange and Pavilion Theatre, which will also house our full programme of interactive installations and our visual programme. Loop Late is unaffected by these changes with Concorde 2 and Komedia and Digital line-ups continuing as planned.

We are disappointed not to be able to deliver our outdoor stage this year and apologise for any inconvenience caused by these late alterations, but we are sure that the addition of these prestigious City centre venues and the guaranteed delivery of these fantastic shows will more than compensate, and not effect your enjoyment of Loop 09.

Tickets for Loop Live will now be exchanged for wristbands at the entrance to the Corn Exchange, which is located on Church Street. Tickets for the event can also be purchased at these venues and at the local outlets throughout the event.
