NYC heavy bass legend Drop the Lime @ Audio, Wednesday

Seems like NYC’s Trouble and Bass honcho and Brooklyn boy Drop The Lime (Luca Venezia) is over these ways a lot more these days since he’s been part of Fabric’s residents lineup, which is great news for heavy bass fans.

Last caught him at Audio last October, when he played to lovers and new fans who were riding the crest of his grime and dancehall influenced beats and no-bars hold djing, plus the Night Slugs event at C2 which I unfortunately missed.

A good opportunity to catch him amongst the friendly and seriously discount Supercharged Wednesday (5/3 NUS) – the giveaways of DJ Marky tickets and mixtape smack of student pitching, but it’s a decent soundsystem and fairly inclusive environment and should promise to be a good night.
