It is with great regret that due to unforeseen logistical challenges, this year’s much anticipated Loop Loud performance by the Matthew Herbert Big Band on Friday 10th July has been cancelled. By way of compensation, existing Loop Loud ticket holders are offered admission to both Saturday’s full Loop Live and Loop Late programmes.

Kliks @ Beachdown Festival
Kliks – Brighton’s original stripped back techno night will be hosting an event at this year’s Beachdown Festival. Famed for bringing some of the main players of minimal techno to Brighton, they return with another stunning lineup. Started in 2003 by Brighton based journalist Lee Smith, Mark Lerman and Tom Ridsdale their events soon gained a level of notoriousness. Kliks started before the “minimal” media hype and wasn’t led by jumping on to trends.

It’s not often you get a chance to see Matt Edwards play in Brighton – even though he’s from here his schedule is booked up with international clubs and festivals. We haven’t seen much promotion about this event but it should be pretty special.
David ‘RAM JAM’ Rodigan @ Coalition

The first arena for Rodigan’s DJ skill was a youth club playing to teenagers like himself. It was at this point in his life in 1968 that he acquired his well-known nickname of ‘Ram Jam’.

Electro-clash was a genre within itself.
