Tiger Chilli Crab Tour comes to BRIGHTON 15/08/2009

There is a Tiger, Chilli Crab weekend coming and by the look of the PR, said ingredients are actually involved. (This is no Fish seeks Bicycle) However what caught my eye is the fact that this is an all day FREE shin dig outside the Honey Club in the sunshine! It’s moments like this, a beer with mates and dancing in the sunshine in front of a tranquil sea that makes us all fall so in love with Brighton and remember why we don’t sell out, take the money and live in the big smoke.

The line up is great, local SKINT boy Kidda is headlining (having recently got into him on Last FM I would highly reccomend that you check you Hey Y’all which is a super lush summer tune.) On the decks before Kidda is a set from Herelededuke another local band who’s momentum keeps growing, here is the “bit” from their Myspace:

All I Know is the next single from the rising star that is Hereldeduke. Hereldeduke’s last single ‘Shudda’ was ‘Record Of The Week’ on The Radcliffe&Maconie Show on BBC Radio 2 and received plays from Huw Stephens (Radio 1), Shaun Keaveny (6 Music), Nemone (6 Music), Steve Merchant (6 Music) and John Hillcock (XFM) amongst others. This reworking of the album version is lively, upbeat, with a very catchy sing-along chorus that is already receiving club plays from DJs.
