Beachdown attempts to break the world record for mass spooning!

It’s Sunday morning, 10.00 am and you have still not been to bed after a heavy night with Giles Peterson. You need a cuddle. You have lost your friends. Beachdown, it seems, has thought of everything…..

Beachdown Festival, which takes place on the beautiful South Downs this August Bank Holiday 28th – 31st August, will be attempting to break the Guinness Book of Records recorded amount for ‘Most People Spooning’!

The event will take place in front of the main stage at 10:00am on the morning of Sunday 30th August and organisers are urging all festival goers to come along and take part! Currently the world record stands at 395 people who spooned simultaneously at the University of North Carolina, USA on 13th May 2005.
