The celebrations will take place at the Om Bar and will feature another welcome DJ set from Evil Eddie Richards. Joining Richards on the decks will be HyperColour’s main man Jamie Russell (AKA Cedric Maison) and Paul Church. It all kicks off at 11 and goes on till 3am. The best part of it all is that it’s free.

Brap is 3 birthday party @ Tom’s Bar
[ November 14, 2009 8:00 pm to November 15, 2009 4:00 am. ] This November, Brap FM are 3 and it goes without saying that a part-ay is in order.It’s being held on Saturday 14 November, from 8pm to 4am at Tom’s Bar over on Princes Street, which I thought had been closed by the council due to noise complaints – a sweaty small venue that’s not without its charms and perfect for ruining you and your mates on this occasion.

artrepublic launch national Street Art competition
After the huge success of last year’s Art of Hope competition, artrepublic has launched its second nationwide competition, Street Art. The graffiti art campaign, in association with the homeless charity StreetSmart, intends to raise the profile of not only the organisation, but street artists across the UK.

Let the games begin: Beardyman & DJ Switch take on Heritage Orchestra
[ November 14, 2009; 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. ] 2012 Olympics are a few years off, but there’s one match that’s more about the beats than the punches – UK beatbox champ and Brighton legend Beardyman takes on classical music on their home turf, placing his mouth-driven beats straight up against Heritage Orchestra on Saturday 14 November at De La Warr Pavillion, just down the road in Bexhill.
The Field Live @ Audio
[ November 11, 2009; 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. ] Audio have lined up The Field, aka Axel Willner, to perform a live show at the venue in November. To my dismay it’s an early show – something I’ve never really been a fan of. I prefer to have the whole evening to enjoy not to climax quickly and toddle off home. Saying that it is on a weekday – maybe it’s a safer choice after all.
