Our style was changing and developing over the past few years, but for now I could easily say that we are definitely into Minimal House and Techno which is mostly becoming more about Tech – House these days. We have been trying to push these great vibes over here as we are simply passionate about this sounds. I’m more eclectic. In my mind old school genres like Detroit Techno…

Mix – Anna Chocola’s Birthday Cake Mix
30-year-old French artist and designer Anna Chocola (Anna Orliac) has put together a lovely little France-meets-Brighton mix of all her current favorite tunes. The mix starts off nicely with acid house influenced “White Night Two”, from Institubes babe Surkin, off his “Next of Kin” EP which came out exactly one year ago. It also includs firm electro classics, such as Daft Punk and Booka Shade…
New album from Deekline & Wizard-”Back Up, Coming Through”
[ May 13, 2009 9:00 pm to May 14, 2009 3:00 am. ] Deekline & Wizard have been riding the UK breaks scene for a very long time and their classic party tune “Handz Up” was remixed and featured with killer effect on the Breakspoll-winning Stanton Warriors Sessions Volume 3 (Fabric Records) last year. Their new album is studded with gems, each one quite different, which is understandable when you consider the range of artists they worked with, from Detroit to Bulgaria and back round to the dirty streets of London.

Penflick Studio podcast and a little taste of Brighton
A couple of years ago, I started drinking at an underground bar called Cosmo Bar, which sat underneath the Cosmopolitan Hotel in New Stein in Kemptown.
The Cosmo Bar, in its time, was a small, two-roomed place that hosted a variety of strange and quirky nights (cross-dress karaoke while drag kings played in Scrabble tournaments), and [...]
Boy 8-Bit back in Brighton with Fake Blood @ Digital
[ March 14, 2009; 10:00 pm; ] Mid-January is upon us. You’re broke and broken. Yawning through family togetherness, followed by dulling the senses with mates out drinks and parties and then a near spiritual vacuum at the realisation that it all cost more than you were expecting. Anyone up for Supercharged then?
Allied Beats – Om Christmas Party Mixes
Welcome to a new year and thank goodness – it couldn’t have come any sooner.
2008 was a rollercoaster of fortunes, and while the media painted a house of horrors for 2009, forecasting a deep economic recession, there’s lots to be hopeful about despite the increasing number of closing pubs and clubs: we are lucky to [...]
