August bank holiday: Spoiled for choice

Okay, I’ll admit it: when I first got an inkling about Beachdown going kapput on Tuesday night I wasn’t at all gutted. Call me a scrooge, but I didn’t fancy forking out to go rough it on the Downs just so I could spend two or three days watching my friends get munted in the same way they do every weekend.

Inside Out with Nathan Coles

If you haven’t been to one of their parties before then jump on this. The events take place at Al Duomo, next to the Pavilion, and are free up until 3am.

Together @ Oxygen Red

April 4, 2009 8:00 pm to April 5, 2009 2:00 am. ] Following their successful launch night in February, a collective of local DJs and promoters are putting on another night on Saturday 4th April to raise money for Cancer Research UK, at Oxygen Red on Preston Street. This night, known as Together, sees 24 of Brightons best DJ’s all playing back to back, choosing their favourite party tunes to keep you dancing all night. The night runs from 8pm – 2am, with a £5 entrance fee that all goes to charity, all of the DJs and promoters play for free. Last time the night raised £1,300 for Cancer Research.
