The Blind Tiger Club – the Speakeasy is back for one weekend
[ October 8, 2009 to October 11, 2009. ] What made the last event such a huge success was the anything goes attitude – the feeling that you weren’t taking part in something legit and on the radar. Dark rooms filled with casual gambling, drinking, dancing and smoking had such an appeal we succumbed to temptation on a number of occasions.
The Blind Tiger Club
Hidden away from the commercialism of West Street, the disorganization of Morley Street and the Indie-cause-it’s-cool attitude of Marine Parade we find something totally on a different level. The Blind Tiger Club takes place every Friday and Saturday during Brighton’s Fringe festival. Loose talk. Bad habits. Gin drinking, bourbon sipping. Highballs and lowlifes. An all-night bar. Poker. Piano. Candles. Chorus girls. Cocktails.
