Electro-clash was a genre within itself. A sad farewell to Stompa Phunk. The Brighton institution runs its last night after 10 years of constant quality.

It’s the first Kliks of the year and there’s certainly no better way to kick it off then a visit from Cologne’s melodic lady Ada. Shockingly, It really has been a while since we’ve been down to Audio. Damn busy hibernating over the Christmas period and striding through the most mundane of months January. It may already be February but a lot was hanging on this night to provide a good Audio kick start to 2008.

This week one of Brighton’s flagship nights, Stompa Phunk has announced it’s moving from a weekly spot to a bi-monthly position. A whiff of change is in the air. Competition in Brighton is currently fierce with Digital being a new kid on the scene, the Honey club always being rammed with MOS CD collecting retards, [...]
